FAQ
To maintain an authentic, unplugged experience, we do not have WiFi at Lake Wivenhoe Campgrounds.
At Lake Wivenhoe Campgrounds, we get reasonable Telstra coverage as well as a little bit of Optus coverage.
We offer a range of site types to suit different setups:
Powered Sites (10 total): Suitable for caravans, campervans and motorhomes. For larger vans, sites 63, 64 and 66 are the most spacious.
Unpowered Drive-On Sites (25 total):
Captain Logan Campground: Sites 31, 36, 37 and 41 can accommodate larger vans. Site 43 is best suited to small campervans, rooftop tents or small motorhomes. Sites 44 and 45a are suitable for campervans, rooftops, motorhomes and small camper trailers.
Lumley Hill Campground: Sites 74–78 and 79–87 are suitable for most setups. Sites 88–91 are only recommended for tents, swags, rooftops or small campervans/trailers.
Tent Sites (48 total): These are all walk-in only with allocated parking nearby (no vehicles at the site). Six of these are located behind sites 74–78 at Lumley Hill.
If you’re unsure what site type suits your setup, feel free to get in touch — we’re happy to help!
